EXO Excels With 'Ko Ko Bop'; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2017, August Week 1

EXO’s “Ko Ko Bop” moves up nine spots to take over as our No. 1 song this week! This song won on all the music shows last week. It also topped the Gaon chart and our Soompi Airplay. The only thing preventing “Ko Ko Bop” from having a perfect score is that it ranks No. 7 on the composite internet rankings. Congratulations to EXO!

EXO narrowly beat their SM Entertainment labelmates Red Velvet. Their song “Red Flavor” was our No. 1 song last week, but is down one spot to No. 2 this week. Rounding out the top three and also down one spot is BLACKPINK’s “As If It’s Your Last.”

There are no new songs in the top 10 this week. The two songs that moved back into the top 10 are Heize’s “Don’t Know You” and G-Dragon’s “Untitled, 2014” at No. 8 and No. 9, respectively.
