BTS Dominates With "DNA"; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2017, October Week 3
BTS’ “DNA” easily repeats as our No. 1 song this week without too much competition. This song once again won all the music show that aired last week during the Chuseok holiday period in Korea. “DNA” even scored 170 points more than the No. 2 song! Congratulations again to BTS.
Moving up eight spots to second place is IU’s remake song “Sleepless Rainy Night.”
There are two new songs in the top 10 this week. Moving up 11 spots to No. 3 is Bolbbalgan4’s new song “Some.” This is one of the two title songs from their new mini-album “Red Diary Page 1.” As an indie duo, Bolbbalgan4 has enjoyed a lot of success crossing over to the pop chart the last two years, receiving much love for their music. “Some” is a soft pop song about a woman who is about to confess her feelings for someone, even if that makes her face flush. Let’s see if this song will become Bolbbalgan4’s first No. 1 song!
Up eight spots to No. 10 is B1A4’s latest hit “Rollin.'” This is the title song from B1A4’s seventh mini-album of the same name. Written by member Jinyoung, “Rollin'” is a dance song with tropical house beat with the lyrics describing the complex emotions of falling in love with someone.
