Singer Kim Ji Soo Announces Military Enlistment Date

Singer Kim Ji Soo will be enlisting to fulfill his mandatory military service soon.

According to his management company Shofar Music, Kim Ji Soo will enlist in the 32nd division army training center in Sejong City on March 13.

Kim Ji Soo debuted after coming in sixth place on Mnet’s “Superstar K2” in 2010. Some of his songs include “Erasing You,” “Dream All Day,” “Reflection,” and “Favorite.” He also made a debut on-screen in “Dream High 2” as Park Hong Joo.

He recently appeared as the contestant Pizza Man on the February 11 episode of MBC’s “King of Masked Singer.” He did his own rendition of 10cm’s “Stalker,” which received much applause from the audience. He also mentioned in an interview, “It would be great if I could come back on ‘King of Masked Singer’ after I’m discharged. Wouldn’t I be the first celebrity to mark both their enlistment and their discharge together with everyone? I hope you will call me on the show again in early 2020. I will be returning with deeper emotions as a singer.”

Kim Ji Soo released his latest album “She” on February 12 before his enlistment.
