"The Princess And The Matchmaker" And "Little Forest" Top Korean Box Office On Premiere Day

Two Korean films “The Princess and the Matchmaker” and “Little Forest” are off to a great start!

According to the Korean Film Council, “The Princess and the Matchmaker” topped the Korean box office with 175,000 moviegoers on the day of its release (February 28). “Little Forest,” which premiered on the same day, came in second with 133,000 moviegoers.

Marvel’s “Black Panther” had previously dominated the Korean box office for 14 consecutive days from February 14. On February 28, “Black Panther” dropped to third place with 114,000 moviegoers.

With both “The Princess and the Matchmaker” and “Little Forest” off to a positive start, it will be interesting to see whether they will be able to continue this momentum.
