TWICE Stays On Top With 'What Is Love?'; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2018, May Week 1

TWICE’s “What is Love?” has risen above the rest of the competition, easily repeating as our No. 1 song this week! For the second straight week, “What is Love?” swept all music show wins. Despite scoring fewer points than last week, its closest competitors are dropping even further behind, and with no major new challengers this week, TWICE has strengthened its hold onto the top spot. Congratulations again to TWICE!

No. 2 and 3 switched places this week, with WINNER’s “EVERYDAY” moving up one spot to No. 2, and BIGBANG’s “Flower Road” dropping one spot to No. 3.

This week is a very quiet week in the top 10 with only one new song. Moving up nine spots to No. 9 is VIXX’s “Scentist,” the title track from VIXX’s third full album “EAU DE VIXX.” It is a future EDM song with dreamy and trendy sound. VIXX’s groovy vocals are the highlight of the song, and the lyrics are delicate and poetic.
