iKON's B.I Shares Thoughts On Popularity Of "Love Scenario" Among Elementary Students

iKON’s B.I commented on how popular “Love Scenario” has been recently with a younger audience.

On the July 17 episode of SBS’s “Night of Real Entertainment,” the show reported on the unexpected popularity of the song amongst kindergarteners and elementary school students.

The staff of the weekly entertainment news show met with an expert in children’s songs to ask about the reason for this phenomenon. Comparing it to well-known children’s songs such as “Three Bears,” the expert explained, “This song is four-four time and has a melody that is easy to sing along to.”

In a phone interview, B.I began, “Hello. This is iKON’s leader B.I and I wrote ‘Love Scenario.'” He continued, “I didn’t expect this at all. [Children] even sing it while hiking and they are so cute. I am first thankful that kids liked it and sang it a lot, but I was a little sad that kids started singing it after our promotions ended.”

He explained, “If we expected this, we would’ve gone on a kindergarten tour or elementary school tour. Thank you so much for giving us a lot of love despite the fact that a lot of time passed and we will keep returning with good songs so that we can repay you for that love.”

“Love Scenario” was released on January 25 and topped Gaon Chart’s digital, download, and streaming charts during the first half of 2018. iKON will make a comeback with the release of their mini album “New Kids: Continue” on August 2.
