BTOB On How Eunkwang's Plans Always Come True + Fulfilling Their Dream Of Performing At Olympic Gymnastics Arena

BTOB talked about their concert, future plans, and Eunkwang’s military enlistment while holding their fifth solo concert “2018 BTOB Time—This Is Us” on August 10.

Ilhoon said, “In a previous interview, Eunkwang said, ‘I want to break the seven-year curse. I think we can do it.’ Anything that Eunkwang says comes true. BTOB broke the seven-year curse and succeeded at renewing our contracts.”

He added, “Like Eunkwang said, we are able to have a concert at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena.”

Eunkwang stated, “I think that my plans are BTOB’s plans. It’s not something that I said while just thinking about myself. I think that we all have the same thought. Each and every second feels new.”

When asked about his next goal, Eunkwang spoke about his upcoming military enlistment as he said, “I have to first pass the next two years.” Yook Sungjae made the others laugh by suggesting, “How about doing trot, which you wanted to do since a while ago?” Eunkwang replied, “I’ll return after planning lots of things during those two years.”

Commenting on BTOB’s first summer concert, Yook Sungjae said, “I felt this while doing rehearsals, but it’s going to be ‘epically epic’ and fun. I hope everyone has fun without getting hurt.” Eunkwang added, “I won’t say a lot. You have to have even more fun. Let’s make our own beautiful memories.”

This concert is even more memorable because BTOB achieved their long-time goal of holding a concert at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena. Ilhoon said, “Isn’t performing at the Olympics Gymnastics Arena a dream for all idols? Many idols are still working hard in order to share this kind of joyful moment with fans.”

Eunkwang stated, “We began with our first concert at the Olympic Hall, then went from Jangchung Arena, SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium, and Jamsil Indoor Arena, to KINTEX and the Olympic Gymnastics Arena. I’m proud every time I see BTOB gradually growing.”

Minhyuk added, “Melody was with us during all of those moments. We are on this stage thanks to our fans.”

When some fans began to cry, Eunkwang asked with concern, “Why are you already crying?” Yook Sungjae added, “We prepared a time for you to cry your heart out later. I’m holding it in too.” Letting out a laugh, Eunkwang replied, “Why are you doing this?” Yook Sungjae then made everyone laugh by saying he was just joking.

BTOB will hold their concert for three days from August 10 to 12, with over 36,000 fans attending.
