BTS's "IDOL" MV Smashes Another Record As It Reaches 20 Million Views

BTS’s “IDOL” MV has already been viewed 20 million times!

After the group’s comeback MV was released on August 24 at 6 p.m. KST, it quickly shot to 10 million views in just over four hours, breaking the record they previously set with “Fake Love.”

The view count kept soaring and it’s now surpassed 20 million! It reached the milestone as of August 25 at 12:35 a.m. KST, meaning it took only six hours and 35 minutes to reach 20 million views.

“IDOL” therefore has broken the record of 8 hours and 56 minutes that BTS set with “Fake Love” earlier this year. This may be fastest time to 20 million views for any artist’s MV on YouTube, however there is a lack of official sources that could confirm this.

The “IDOL” MV also currently has 3.2 million “likes” on YouTube.
