IU To Reportedly Return With New Music Soon
IU may be joining the fall comeback rush!
According to the findings of media outlet Sports DongA, IU will be releasing a new album sometime in October. The exact release date and comeback schedule have yet to be finalized, but they are likely dependent on her upcoming concert tour.
If confirmed, the upcoming release will be IU’s first solo album in 2018, and her first in a little over a year since her cover album “A Flower Bookmark 2.” The singer and Block B’s Zico did release their collaboration “SoulMate” earlier this year in July.
IU will be holding concerts in seven different cities in Asia from October to December as a part of her concert tour “dlwlrma” in honor of her 10th anniversary since her debut as a singer. It will kick off in Busan on October 28, before she heads to Gwangju, Seoul, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, and Taipei. She recently held a fan meeting for her 10th debut anniversary as well.
