SHINee, TVXQ, BTS, And MONSTA X Achieve RIAJ Gold Certifications

Several Japanese releases by Korean groups have been newly certified!

On October 10, the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) released the certifications for the month of September 2018. In addition to TWICE’s new album being certified platinum, releases by TVXQ, SHINee, BTS, and MONSTA X were certified gold.

Artists achieve gold certifications if the cumulative net shipments for their albums or singles surpass 100,000.

For singles, SHINee’s “Sunny Side,” which was released on August 1, 2018, as well as MONSTA X’s “Livin’ It Up,” which was released on September 12, were certified gold.

Albums that were certified gold are TVXQ’s “Tomorrow,” released on September 19, 2018, and BTS’s “Love Yourself: Answer,” released on August 24, 2018. Congratulations to TVXQ, SHINee, BTS, and MONSTA X!
