Watch: "Encounter" Shares Video From Engaging 1st Script Reading With Park Bo Gum, Song Hye Kyo, And More

tvN’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Encounter” (formerly known as “Boyfriend”) has released a video taken from the cast’s first script reading!

“Encounter” will be the love story of Cha Soo Hyun (Song Hye Kyo), the daughter of a prominent politician and ex-wife of the heir to a conglomerate, and Kim Jin Hyuk (Park Bo Gum), an ordinary and innocent man who is content with the life he lives.

The new video was shared on October 26 and follows the cast of the drama as they greet each other and read through their lines. Song Hye Kyo perfectly embodied the standoffish but curious personality of Cha Soo Hyun, and Park Bo Gum took on everything from English lines to acting like he was drunk as Kim Jin Hyuk.

They worked alongside a strong supporting cast that includes Go Chang Suk, Kwak Sun Young, Cha Hwa Yeon, Moon Sung Geun, Nam Ki Ae, Shin Jung Geun, and Baek Ji Won. The room was constantly filled with laughter as the actors played off each other’s lines to create fun scenes that will also make viewers’ hearts race.

“Encounter” is set to make its premiere on November 28 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
