IU Grabs Top Spot With "BBIBBI"; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2018, October Week 4
IU’s “BBIBBI” moves up nine spots to become our new No. 1 song! This song won on “Inkigayo,” “Music Bank,” and “Music Core” last week. It also topped GAON and most internet charts. Overall, it was just eight points off a perfect score. Congratulations to IU!
Last week’s No. 1 song, iKON’s “Goodbye Road,” dropped one spot to No. 2. This song won last week on both “M Countdown” and “Show Champion,” but it wasn’t enough to maintain the top spot.
Rounding out the top three is former six-week champion, BTS’ “IDOL,” dropping one spot to No. 3.
We have two new songs in the top 10 this week! Moving up 16 spots to No. 5 is Loco’s “It Takes Time,” which is a laid back hip hop track featuring Colde. The lyrics are about how it takes time to heal and move on from a past relationship. This is Loco’s first-ever top five hit on our chart!
Moving up 22 big spots and scoring their first top 10 hit is NCT 127’s “Regular.” This is the title song from NCT 127’s first album “NCT #127 Regular-Irregular.” and is a Latin style dance track with witty lyrics about dreaming to become a wealthy person.
