EXO Shares Details For "Love Shot," Including Chen's And Chanyeol's Participation As Lyricists

EXO’s new title track has a couple of special contributions!

The group is set to make a comeback soon with “LOVE SHOT,” the repackaged album for their fifth studio album “Don’t Mess Up My Tempo.” In addition to the original 11 tracks, “LOVE SHOT” will feature four new tracks including Korean and Chinese versions of the eponymous title track, “Trauma,” and “Wait.”

Notably, members Chen and Chanyeol participated in writing the lyrics for “Love Shot,” a pop dance track that features a memorably addictive chorus and heavy 808 bass. The lyrics talk about hoping to be together and rediscover the meaning of true love, which seems to be disappearing more and more from a dreary world.

Both Chen and Chanyeol have written lyrics for many of EXO’s past tracks, including their 2017 title track “Ko Ko Bop,” as well as their own solos or collaborations.

EXO recently shared a look at the music video for “Love Shot,” which you can watch here, as well as a couple teasers.

“LOVE SHOT” will drop on December 13 at 6 p.m. KST.
