Wanna One Ascends With "Spring Breeze"; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2018, December Week 2
Wanna One’s “Spring Breeze” moves up 11 spots to become our new No. 1 song this week! “Spring Breeze” had a strong showing on music shows last week, winning on “Music Bank,” “Music Core,” “M Countdown” and “Show Champion.” Congratulations to Wanna One!
“Spring Breeze” is the title track from Wanna One’s second studio album “1¹¹=1 (POWER OF DESTINY).” It is an alternative dance song with synth-pop elements, soft synth sounds, gentle guitar arrangements, and dynamic percussion that add to the atmosphere of the song. The lyrics are about a sad but beautiful story.
Last two week’s champion song, TWICE’s “Yes or Yes,” fell one spot to No. 2. Also down one spot to No. 3 is EXO’s “Tempo.”
We have one other new song in the top 10 this week. Moving up 12 spots to No. 9 is EXID’s new song “I LOVE YOU.” This is a catchy dance song with an addictive voice sampling and sophisticated arrangements. The lyrics are about a powerful confession of love.
