Winners Of 2018 MAMA Premiere In Korea

This year’s Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) kicked off on December 10 with its premiere in Korea!

The show put a spotlight on 2018’s talented rookies, as well as some of the big names behind the industry’s artists. The MC for the evening was actor Jung Hae In.

Best New Artist awards went to Stray Kids and IZ*ONE, while Wanna One was given the DDP Best Trend award. Four awards went to professionals who have worked on BTS’s releases, including Big Hit Entertainment founder Bang Shi Hyuk, producer Pdogg, choreographer Son Sung Deuk, and art director MU:E.

Best Art Director: MU:E (BTS’s “Fake Love”)
Best Executive Producer: Bang Shi Hyuk
Best Video Director: LO Ging-zim
Best of Next: (G)I-DLE
Best New Artist (Male): Stray Kids
Best New Artist (Female): IZ*ONE
DDP Best Trend: Wanna One
