MAMAMOO's Hwasa Tops Major Realtime Charts With Solo Debut Track "Twit" + Expresses Gratitude

MAMAMOO’s Hwasa has impressed the public with her solo debut!

On February 13, Hwasa released her solo debut track “Twit.” Soon afterwards, the track soared to the top of various major realtime charts including Melon, Genie, Bugs, Soribada, and Olleh Music.

In response, Hwasa expressed her gratitude by saying, “From the moment my solo debut track ‘Twit’ was released, I’ve been happy as if I had already won No. 1. I was glad that the track turned out to be better than I anticipated, but to also receive an undeserving amount of love [from the public], I am filled with emotion. I couldn’t be any happier.”

The singer also thanked her family, fellow bandmates, and the employees at her agency. Hwasa concluded, “I will never lose my appreciation for being able to do the things I’ve wanted to do since I was young, through music like this. I always hold much gratitude in my heart. I will continue to courageously walk my path. Once again, I sincerely thank everyone.”
