BTS Secures No. 1 Spot With "Boy With Luv"; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2019, May Week 4
The top three songs remain the same this week, which means BTS’s “Boy With Luv” is our No. 1 song for the fourth straight week and is on top of our chart for the whole month of May! This song turns in another dominating performance last week, winning on “Inkigayo,” “Music Bank,” and “Music Core.” Overall, its score remains the same as last week while the scores of its closest competitors have dropped. Congratulations again to BTS!
Holding steady at No. 2 and No. 3 are TWICE’s “FANCY” and NU’EST’s “BET BET,” respectively.
There are two new songs in the top 10 this week. Moving up 15 spots to No. 4 is Oh My Girl’s “SSFWL.” This is the title song of their first full album “The Fifth Season.” It is a sweet dance song that compares a young woman’s feeling of love to the fifth season of the year. “SSFWL” won on “M Countdown” and “Show Champion” last week.
Moving up 10 spots to No. 7 is Park Hyo Shin’s “Goodbye.” This is a pre-released single of Park Hyo Shin’s upcoming eighth album. It is a sad ballad that describes a person’s inevitable breakup and how he must accept that it is time to let it go.
