Kang Daniel And LM Entertainment's 2nd Court Questioning Date Set
The court has set a date for the second round of Kang Daniel and LM Entertainment’s legal dispute.
The Seoul Central District Court recently set June 12 as the date for LM Entertainment and Kang Daniel’s second court questioning and conveyed the date to both sides. This follows LM Entertainment’s formal objection against the court’s original ruling, which ruled in favor of Kang Daniel’s application for an injunction against the agency to suspend his contract. The court’s ruling allows the idol to promote independently until the court makes a new decision in the upcoming court questioning.
Kang Daniel’s legal representative asserts that the agency had sold his exclusive contract rights to a third party, MMO Entertainment.
Meanwhile, Kang Daniel came in first place on “Produce 101 Season 2” in 2017 and made his debut as part of project group Wanna One. Following the end of the group’s contract, he signed an exclusive contract with LM Entertainment. He filed to suspend his contract in March, leading to his current legal dispute with the agency.
