Chungha Remains On No. 1 Spot With "Snapping"; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2019, July Week 3
Chungha’s “Snapping” remains on the No. 1 spot! Despite placing second on all music show rankings last week, this song picked up enough scores from other chart sources to stay on top. Congratulations again to Chungha!
Moving up 10 spots to No. 2 is GFRIEND’s new song “Fever.” This is the title song from GFRIEND’s seventh mini-album “FEVER SEASON,” and is an electronic dance song that compares the heat that does not cool down at night to a fever. “Fever” swept all the music shows last week; however, it didn’t fare as well in other chart sources and therefore settled for No. 2 this week.
Rounding out the all-female top three is another new song. Moving up 17 spots to No. 3 is Ben’s “Thank You For Goodbye.” This is an emotional ballad about a heart-wrenching breakup story. It is Ben’s first top three hit song.
There is one other new song in the top 10 this week. Moving up 15 spots to No. 8 is EXO’s D.O.’s first solo top 10 hit. His song “That’s okay” is an R&B song harmonizes D.O.’s warm, lively vocals with an acoustic guitar sound. The lyrics mention that it is okay to naturally pass the emotions that make feelings difficult.
