IU Rises To No. 1 With "Blueming"; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2019, December Week 2
It was a close three-way battle for the top spot on our chart this week! IU’s “Blueming” moves up one spot to take over as our new No. 1 song. “Blueming” won on “Inkigayo” the previous week and came out on top despite tough competition. Congratulations to IU!
Moving up eight spots to No. 2 is EXO’s “Obsession,” which won on “Music Bank” and “Music Core” the previous week and was just edged out by “Blueming” for the top spot.
Rounding out the top three is MAMAMOO’s “HIP,” which topped our chart for the past two weeks. This song picked up another music show win on “Show Champion” the previous week.
AOA’s “Come See Me” is the only song to newly enter the top 10 this week, moving up 15 spots to No. 6. This is the title track from AOA’s sixth mini album “NEW MOON” and is a powerful yet sentimental dance track.
