IU Maintains No. 1 With "Blueming"; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2019, December Week 3
On this week’s Soompi Music Chart, the same three songs as last week battled it out for the top spot. IU’s “Blueming” repeats as the No. 1 song this week. “Blueming” also won the triple crown on “Inkigayo” last week. Congratulations again to IU!
MAMAMOO’s “HIP” moves back up one spot to No. 2, while EXO’s “Obsession” is down one spot to No. 3.
There are four songs that newly entered the top 10 this week. Moving up 15 spots to No. 4 is Davichi’s “Dear.” This is a song that expresses a warm message of gratitude to someone who has been supportive for a long time.
Up 14 spots to No. 7 is Jung Seung Hwan’s “My Christmas wish,” which is a wintry confession song with lyrics written by IU.
The other two top 10 entries are both duets. Moving up 10 spots to No. 8 is Kim Na Young and Yang Da Il’s “Goodbye list,” which is a ballad that expresses what people must let go of when their relationship ends.
In addition to IU topping the chart with “Blueming” this week, her duet with Sung Si Kyung titled “First Winter” debuts at No. 9. The ballad is about a couple’s first winter and Christmas together.
