"Parasite" Nominated For 6 Oscars, Including Best Picture
The 92nd Academy Awards has announced its nominees, with Bong Joon Ho’s film “Parasite” receiving six nominations, including Best Picture!
The film has grabbed nods for the categories of Best Picture, Original Screenplay, Directing, Film Editing, Production Design, and International Feature Film. “Parasite” is the first ever Korean film to be nominated for Best Picture, and Bong Joon Ho is the first Korean director to be nominated for an Oscar.

The acclaimed film has received many accolades this award season both in Korea and internationally, and it became the first ever Korean film to win at the Golden Globes when it took the award for Best Foreign Language Film.
The 92nd Academy Awards will be held on February 9, 2020 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
