Red Velvet Maintains No. 1 With "Psycho"; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2020, January Week 4
Red Velvet’s “Psycho” maintains its strong lead as the No. 1 song this week. The song has now secured nine music show wins with triple crowns on “Music Core,” “Inkigayo,” and “Music Bank.” Congratulations again to Red Velvet!
Debuting at No. 2 is Zico’s “Any song,” which is a fun hip hop track about feeling stressed and wanting to play any song to refresh oneself. This song has generated a lot of buzz even among celebrities with the viral “Any song” dance challenge.
Rounding out the top three and holding steady is MAMAMOO’s “HIP.”
There are two other new songs in the top 10 this week. Debuting at No. 6 is Taeyeon’s “Dear Me,” the title track from Taeyeon’s repackaged album “Purpose.” Taeyeon’s emotional voice sings lyrics about loving and believing in oneself above an acoustic guitar and string accompaniment.
Entering at No. 9 is Baek Yerin’s “Here I Am Again,” which is the fourth single from the tvN drama “Crash Landing On You” starring Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin. The song is about lovers who have to part ways but are sincerely longing for each other.
