IU To Sing Her First Drama OST In 9 Years For "Crash Landing On You"

“Crash Landing on You” has responded to reports of IU participating in the OST.

In response to the previous reports, a source from the drama confirmed, “It is true that IU participated in singing for the ‘Crash Landing on You’ OST. The release date has not been decided yet.”

On February 3, SpoTV News reported that IU will be singing for the OST for tvN’s “Crash Landing on You.”

If this is true, it will be IU’s first time singing an official drama OST in nine years since “Hold My Hand” for MBC’s “The Greatest Love.” Though IU’s song “Crayon Pastels” from her third studio album “Modern Times” was inserted into KBS’s “Bel Ami,” it was not included as part of the drama’s original soundtrack. Her song “Our Happy Ending” that played on tvN’s “Hotel Del Luna” was also not released.

According to SpoTV News, IU agreed to participate in the OST for “Crash Landing on You” because of her connection with screenwriter Park Ji Eun, with whom she worked with in KBS’s “The Producers.”
