KCON, Stray Kids, Super Junior, And More Postpone Or Cancel Concerts + Events Due To Coronavirus Outbreak
More events have been canceled or postponed due to concerns about the spread of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), as well as Japan’s announcement of a new mandatory 14-day quarantine for all visitors from China and South Korea.
On March 6, Super Junior announced the cancellation of their Japanese concerts scheduled to take place on March 25 and 26 at the Saitama Super Arena.
Stray Kids has postponed their April 18 concert at the Star Theatre in Singapore, and JYP Entertainment has also announced the cancellation of the group’s March 21 and 22 concerts at the Maruzen Intec Arena in Osaka.
KCON 2020 Japan, which was scheduled to take place from April 3 to 5 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, has been postponed. The lineup for KCON 2020 included fromis_9, TOO, A.C.E, Cherry Bullet, Stray Kids, ASTRO, Oh My Girl, SF9, TWICE, DreamCatcher, OnlyOneOf, JO1, DAY6, VERIVERY, EVERGLOW, PENTAGON, The Boyz, DKB, IMFACT, NATURE, AB6IX, IZ*ONE, LOONA, ONEUS, and TXT.
AB6IX has also announced the postponement of their upcoming “AB6IX 1st World Tour (6IXENSE) in the U.S.”, which was scheduled to take them to Newark, Atlanta, Chicago, Minneapolis, Dallas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles in April.
