ITZY Rises To No. 1 With "WANNABE"; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2020, April Week 2
After three weeks at No. 2, ITZY’s “WANNABE” has finally risen this week to become our new No. 1 song. “WANNABE” has also accumulated eight music show wins. Congratulations to ITZY!
Following a long reign on top, BTS’s “ON” continues to remain strong at No. 2.
There are three songs that newly entered the top 10 this week. Debuting at No. 3 is EXO’s Suho with his song “Let’s Love,” which is the title track from his first mini album “Self-Potrait.” The modern rock song is about changing for the better through love.
Moving up 10 spots to No. 7 is MC The Max’s “BLOOM,” the title track from their 20th anniversary single album “CEREMONIA.” It is a ballad with a beautiful piano melody, and the lyrics are about a man who wishes for happiness again.
Up seven spots to No. 8 is WINNER’s “Hold,” the pre-released single from WINNER’s third studio album “Remember.” A hip hop song with trap beats, the lyrics express a guy’s thoughts about his current fling.
