SEVENTEEN Breaks Their Own 1st-Week Sales Record In Just 4 Days With "Heng:garæ"
SEVENTEEN is soaring higher than ever before with their latest release!
Just four days after the release of their seventh mini album “Heng:garæ” on June 22, SEVENTEEN has already smashed their own first-week album sales record. According to Hanteo Chart, the new mini album managed to sell a total of 895,230 copies by the evening of June 25 KST, meaning that “Heng:garæ” took just four days to beat the group’s previous first-week record of 700,863 (set by their 2019 album “An Ode“).
Since the latter figure marks the total sales of “An Ode” from the first seven days of its release, and “Heng:garæ” still has three days to go in its first week, SEVENTEEN’s new first-week sales record will climb even higher in the days to come.
The feat is even more impressive when considering that “An Ode” achieved the highest first-week sales of any album released in the second half of 2019.
Additionally, “Heng:garæ” has already achieved the second-highest first-week sales of any album released in 2020 (following BTS’s “Map of the Soul: 7“). Industry watchers are currently predicting that the mini album may be on track to become a “million seller.”
Congratulations to SEVENTEEN!
