Gong Hyo Jin Explains Why Her Work Comes Before Love And Yeo Jin Goo Discusses His Dating Experience

The latest episode of “House on Wheels” featured Gong Hyo Jin as the guest!

On the July 2 episode of tvN’s “House on Wheels,” actress Gong Hyo Jin joined cast members Sung Dong Il, Kim Hee Won, and Yeo Jin Goo in their portable home.

While chatting with Yeo Jin Goo, who is currently 22 years old, Gong Hyo Jin reflected on her twenties and why she thought love was everything back then. She shared, “When I was in my twenties, I didn’t understand when my unnies [older female friends or sisters] would tell me, ‘Instead of getting caught up in love and giving it everything, just work hard on your career.’ There was a time when I thought, ‘Love is everything.'”

She added, “Looking back now, they were right. I have to first do my work well in order to receive lots of love. My own self has to be full.” Kim Hee Won chimed in to say, “Jin Goo has said that he wants to get married early.” Yeo Jin Goo responded, “When I see happy families, it makes me want to get married.”

To the young actor, Gong Hyo Jin commented, “Since you’ve been working from when you were young, I don’t think you would’ve gotten to experience cute childhood first love during school.” Yeo Jin Goo surprised everyone by revealing, “I’ve only experienced one-sided crushes. I’ve never officially dated.”

Kim Hee Won hilariously told Yeo Jin Goo, “You’re more in a rush than I am!” He continued, “When you love, your heart grows and you become a poet. All the pop songs sound like they’re about you. From there, you gradually become more human. You start to recognize the bitterness in life. That’s what happiness is.”
