BLACKPINK Remains No. 1 With "How You Like That"; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2020, July Week 3
BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That” repeats as our No. 1 song this week. This song has accumulated ten music show wins so far and has remained strong on all music charts. Congratulations again to BLACKPINK!
Hwasa’s “Maria” remains at No. 2 this week. Bouncing back up four spots to No. 3 is TWICE’s “MORE & MORE,” which previously topped our chart for four weeks.
There are two new songs in the top 10 this week.
Debuting at No. 4 is Red Velvet’s first sub-unit made up of members Irene and Seulgi. “Monster” is the title track from their first mini album of the same name, and the lyrics express becoming a monster that dances and bothers someone in their dreams.
Chungha’s new song “PLAY” enters the chart at No. 5. This is the second pre-released single from Chungha’s upcoming album. A Latin pop dance song with reggae rhythms and an acoustic guitar sound, “PLAY” describes the story of a hot and beautiful afternoon when the boundary between day and night is blurred.
