Jung Woo Sung Confirmed To Star In BFF Lee Jung Jae's Directorial Debut
It’s official: Jung Woo Sung will be joining his best friend Lee Jung Jae in his upcoming film!
On August 21, it was confirmed that Jung Woo Sung would be starring in the new movie “Hunt” (literal title), which will mark Lee Jung Jae’s directorial debut.
The upcoming action movie will tell the story of two ace National Intelligence Service (NIS) agents who uncover a shocking truth while chasing down the person in charge of North Korean spies. In addition to directing the film, Lee Jung Jae will star as agent Park Pyung Ho, while Jung Woo Sung will play the role of Park Pyung Ho’s colleague and rival Kim Jung Do.
The two longtime friends previously starred together in the 1999 film “City of the Rising Sun,” making “Hunt” their first on-screen reunion in over 21 years.
“Hunt” is currently scheduled to begin filming in 2021.
