"The Penthouse 2" Writer Completes All Scripts For This Season, Filming To End In Late March
“The Penthouse 2” writer Kim Soon Ok has finished putting on paper all the exciting twists and turns of this suspenseful season!
SpoTVNews reported on March 9 that Kim Soon Ok had completed the full season up to episode 13, which will be the finale, and has already begun writing Season 3. It was reported that the cast has also received all the scripts. With Season 2 described as featuring many plot twists right up until the final episode, the actors and staff are said to be very vigilant about not revealing spoilers as they film in good spirits.
The outlet reported that filming for this season will continue until the end of March, and the team will take a two-week break before starting to shoot the third season.
Later that day, a source from “The Penthouse 2” stated to Newsen, “Writer Kim Soon Ok recently finished the scripts for Season 2. We plan to finish filming Season 2 at the end of March.”
SpoTVNews also mentioned in its report that the third season is airing only one episode a week. When this was initially reported in February, a source from the show responded by saying that a one-episode-per-week format was under discussion but nothing had been decided. SBS has not yet confirmed its plans for the third season’s broadcast schedule.
