Jang Nara And Jung Yong Hwa Are Complete Opposites During Their 1st Encounter In New Drama About Ghosts

KBS 2TV drama “Daebak Real Estate” (literal title) gives a preview of its characters through new teasers!

“Daebak Real Estate” is about a real estate agent and a con man who team up to exorcise ghosts and evil auras from properties where people have died. It is penned by Ha Soo Jin, Lee Young Hwa, and Jung Yeon Seo, and directed by Park Jin Suk, who worked on “School 2017,” “Naked Fireman,” and “The Tale of the Bookworm.”

Jang Nara takes the role of Hong Ji Ah, the boss of Daebak Real Estate and an exorcist. With her beauty and brains, she appears to be perfect on the outside, but she is a hot-tempered person who inherited her exorcism abilities from her mother. CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa plays Oh In Bum, a quick-witted con man who pretends to be an exorcist, despite not believing in ghosts himself.

New stills from the show highlight the extreme difference between the two characters. In the drama, Oh In Bum discovers Hong Ji Ah in a mysterious place, and he quickly hides behind a pillar. With a lighter in her hand, Hong Ji Ah looks serious, calm, and cool-headed. In previous photos, Hong Ji Ah carried out an exorcism in a building by lighting incense. Meanwhile, as Oh In Bum hides in fright and watches intently, he can’t contain his astonishment.

Jang Nara and Jung Yong Hwa filmed this “first sighting” scene in January. Since it was important that their expressions were the opposite of each other, the two actors rehearsed seriously while looking in the mirror.

The production team said, “Starting from their first meeting, there was a strong synergy between Jang Nara and Jung Yong Hwa, as they played Hong Ji Ah, who confronts ghosts straight on, and Oh In Bum, who doesn’t believe in ghosts.” They added, “Please look forward to ‘Daebak Real Estate,’ which will feature Jang Nara and Jung Yong Hwa’s amazing chemistry.”

The show also recently shared a teaser video starring Jang Nara! The video acts as a chilling advertisement for the business run by Hong Ji Ah. The charismatic and enigmatic realtor sits in a dark room with a mysterious aura, and after she places an ornamental pin in her hair, she turns to the camera. “Do you want to sell your haunted home for the price it deserves?” she asks.
