BLACKPINK’s Rosé sweeps Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts with “On The Ground“!

The singer made her solo debut on March 12 with the single album “R” and its title track “On The Ground.” It was previously shared that “On The Ground” took the No. 70 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, becoming the highest ranking track by a female Korean soloist in the chart’s history.

On top of that, Rosé has achieved a first on another Billboard chart! “On The Ground” debuts at No. 1 on both the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts. The lists, which launched last September, rank songs based on streaming and sales data from more than 200 territories. The Global 200 includes data from around the world and the Global Excl. U.S. chart comprises data from territories excluding the United States.

As BLACKPINK also topped the Global Excl. U.S. chart in October with “Lovesick Girls,” Rosé is now the first artist to have taken No. 1 on the list both as a soloist and with a group.

“On The Ground” scores No. 1 on the Global 200 chart with 92.1 million streams and 29,000 sold worldwide during the March 12 to 18 tracking week. Rosé’s single album also includes the track “Gone,” which has grabbed the No. 29 spot on the Global 200 with 19.6 million streams and 25,000 sold worldwide.

Meanwhile, “On The Ground” achieves the top spot on the Global Excl. U.S. chart with 85.7 million streams and 22,000 sold in territories outside the United States during the tracking week. “Gone” debuts on the list in No. 17, with 17.4 million streams and 19,000 sold outside the United States.

“On The Ground” also enters the Digital Song Sales chart at No. 10, with “Gone” taking No. 15.
