IZ*ONE's Miyawaki Sakura To Graduate From HKT48
Former IZ*ONE member Miyawaki Sakura has officially announced her graduation from her longtime group HKT48.
On May 15, HKT48 formally stated that after 10 years, Miyawaki Sakura would be graduating from the group at her own request.

This is an official announcement regarding her graduation.Sakura Miyawaki will be finishing her involvement in HKT48 at her graduation concert, planned to be held on Saturday, June 19th.

Earlier this year, Miyawaki Sakura was reported to be preparing to sign with HYBE (then Big Hit Entertainment) following IZ*ONE’s disbandment. However, the agency stated at the time, “Nothing has been decided.”
Miyawaki Sakura first debuted in Japan as a member of HKT48 in 2011. After ranking No. 2 on Mnet’s “Produce 48” in 2018, she debuted as a member of project group IZ*ONE, and she promoted with the group up until their disbandment at the end of last month.
