TXT Joins Mariah Carey, TWICE, And SEVENTEEN As 4th Foreign Artist In History To Top Oricon's Weekly Album Chart With 4 Consecutive Albums
TXT has just achieved an impressive feat on the Oricon charts!
On June 15, Oricon officially announced that TXT had topped its weekly album chart with their new studio album “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE,” which racked up 77,000 sales for the week of June 7 to 13.
With this latest achievement, TXT has now managed to top the chart with four albums in a row: starting with “The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY,” the group has maintained a perfect streak with “minisode1: Blue Hour,” their Japanese album “Still Dreaming,” and now “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE.”
As a result, TXT has become only the fourth foreign artist in history ever to top Oricon’s weekly album chart with four consecutive albums—following in the footsteps of Mariah Carey, who became the first artist to achieve the feat in November 1998; TWICE (May 2019); and SEVENTEEN (September 2020).
Congratulations to TXT!
