SEVENTEEN Tops iTunes Charts Around The World + Smashes Own 1st-Day Sales Record With "Your Choice"
SEVENTEEN’s new mini album is off to an impressive start on music charts all over the world!
On June 18 at 6 p.m. KST, SEVENTEEN made their highly-anticipated comeback with their eighth mini album “Your Choice” and its accompanying title track “Ready to Love.”
According to Hanteo Chart, “Your Choice” sold an impressive total of 881,788 copies on its first day of sales alone—almost double SEVENTEEN’s previous first-day sales record of 462,003 set by their 2020 mini album “Heng:garæ.”
With this latest achievement, SEVENTEEN has now become the artist with the second-highest first-day sales in Hanteo history, bested only by BTS. “Your Choice” has also achieved the fourth-highest first-day sales of any album in Hanteo history, following BTS’s “Map of the Soul: 7,” “BE,” and “Map of the Soul: Persona.”
Additionally, not only did SEVENTEEN’s new title track “Ready to Love” soar to No. 1 on Genie’s realtime chart—as well as those of Japan’s Line Music and AWA—shortly after its release, but it also shot to the top of iTunes charts in various countries across the globe.
As of 8 a.m. KST on June 19, “Ready to Love” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 22 different regions, including Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. “Your Choice” had also reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 18 different regions, including Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
Congratulations to SEVENTEEN on their successful comeback!
