BTS, TXT, BLACKPINK, SEVENTEEN, And NCT Claim Top Spots On Billboard's World Albums Chart
Billboard has released its World Albums chart for the week ending on August 14!
BTS landed a total of seven albums in the top 15 this week, with “BE” rising to No. 1 and pushing “Map of the Soul: 7” down to No. 2. “Love Yourself: Answer” charted at No. 7, “Map of the Soul: Persona” at No. 9, “Skool Luv Affair” at No. 11, “Love Yourself: Her” at No. 13, and “Love Yourself: Tear” at No. 15.
Meanwhile, TXT’s “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” held onto its spot at No. 3 in its 10th week on the chart. The album also spent its ninth consecutive week on the Billboard 200, where it extended its own record as the longest-charting K-pop album of the year.
BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” similarly maintained its position at No. 6 in its 44th week on the chart, while SEVENTEEN’s “Your Choice” remained No. 12 in its seventh.
Finally, NCT’s “RESONANCE Pt. 1” re-entered the chart at No. 14 this week, marking its 38th non-consecutive week in the top 15.
