Block B's P.O And DAY6's Wonpil Enlist In The Military

Block B’s P.O and DAY6’s Wonpil have enlisted in the military!

On March 28, P.O enlisted in the Marine Corps, while Wonpil enlisted in the navy. Both are their respective team’s last member to enlist in the military. In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the two idols enlisted quietly in private.

P.O continued filming for tvN’s “Amazing Saturday” until right before his enlistment. On his Instagram run by his agency, P.O uploaded a photo of him enlisting with his new buzz cut. The caption on the post reads, “Come back safely, our Ji Hoon (P.O’s real name).” After seven weeks of training, he will officially join the Marine Corps.

Wonpil held his solo concert this past weekend. During the concert, Wonpil shared, “I will treasure the precious support within my heart and come back without getting hurt.” On DAY6’s Instagram, photos of Wonpil enlisting were uploaded along with the caption, “We will bravely overcome the hiatus. That’s My Day (DAY6’s official fan club) and Wonpil, right? I’ll be back.”
