Red Velvet Scores 2nd Highest 1st-Week Sales Among Girl Groups After Setting New Personal Best In Only 1 Day
Red Velvet has hit a new career high with their latest mini album!
On March 21, Red Velvet dropped their seventh mini album “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm.”
According to Hanteo Chart, Red Velvet’s new album sold a grand total of 443,922 copies in the first week of its release (March 21 to March 27). In addition to doubling their previous record set by their last album “Queendom,” this album impressively sold 231,100 copies on the day of its release, surpassing the first week sales record of “Queendom” in only one day.
This achievement makes Red Velvet only the second girl group in Hanteo history to record over 400,000 album sales in the first week. (BLACKPINK is the only other group to do so with “THE ALBUM.”)
