Stray Kids, BTS, Red Velvet, NCT 127, (G)I-DLE, BLACKPINK, TXT, And ITZY Sweep Top Spots On Billboard's World Albums Chart

Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week of April 2!

Stray Kids’ new mini album “ODDINARY” debuted at No. 1 on this week’s World Albums chart—but that wasn’t the only Billboard chart the group topped this week.

“ODDINARY,” which had the biggest U.S. sales week of any album released in 2022, also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 (marking Stray Kids’ first-ever entry on the chart), the Top Album Sales chart, and the Top Current Album Sales chart. Additionally, the mini album entered the Tastemaker Albums chart at No. 2.

Stray Kids’ new title track “MANIAC” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart, while three of their B-sides from “ODDINARY” made the top 15: “VENOM” entered the chart at No. 7, “Charmer” at No. 10, and “FREEZE” at No. 14. “MANIAC” also debuted at No. 19 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100, No. 15 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, and No. 21 on the Global 200 this week.

Finally, Stray Kids re-entered Billboard’s Artist 100 at No. 1, marking their second non-consecutive week on the chart. The group is now the fourth Korean artist ever to top the chart, following BTS, BLACKPINK, and SuperM.

Meanwhile, BTS landed a total of six albums on the World Albums chart this week. “Love Yourself: Her” held onto its spot at No. 2, followed by “BE” at No. 4, “Map of the Soul: Persona” at No. 5, “Map of the Soul: 7” at No. 6, “Love Yourself: Tear” at No. 7, and “Love Yourself: Answer” at No. 12.

Red Velvet’s new EP “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm” debuted at No. 8 on this week’s chart, while NCT 127’s “Sticker” stayed strong at No. 10 and BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” followed at No. 11.

Finally, (G)I-DLE’s first studio album “I NEVER DIE” entered the World Albums Chart at No. 13, trailed by TXT’s “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” at No. 14 and ITZY’s “CRAZY IN LOVE” at No. 15.
