DIA Confirmed To Make August Comeback + Agency Comments On Contract Expiration
DIA will be returning with a new album in August!
On May 11, Edaily reported that DIA is preparing to release one last final album in August before their contracts with their agency PocketDol Studio expires. The reports state that the members will be walking their separate paths after wrapping up album promotions as a full group.
In response to the report, a representative of DIA’s agency stated, “The exact details are still under discussion.” Regarding the remaining period of the members’ exclusive contracts, they stated, “There is still some time remaining. It is difficult to say whether the August album will be the last album.” This will be the group’s first comeback in approximately two years and two months since their sixth mini album “Flower 4 Seasons” in June 2020.
DIA debuted in September 2015 as a seven-member group and underwent various member changes. The group currently consists of the six members Eunice, Ki Huihyeon, Jung Chaeyeon, Yebin, Eunchae, and Jueun. Since their debut, DIA released numerous popular songs including “Somehow,” “On the Road,” “Mr. Potter,” “Will you go out with me,” “Can’t Stop,” “WooWoo,” “WOOWA,” “Hug U,” and more. The members’ exclusive contracts with the agency are due to expire in September this year.
