ATEEZ's Hongjoong And Yunho To Host "Idol Radio" Season 3

The third season of “Idol Radio” will be hosted by ATEEZ’s Hongjoong and Yunho!

Hongjoong and Yunho will serve as the new DJs of “Idol Radio,” MBC’s idol-centric radio program that broadcasts exclusively through the UNIVERSE app, taking over the host spots previously held by MONSTA X’s Joohoney and Hyungwon.

The producers of “Idol Radio” Season 3 commented, “Adding ATEEZ’s ‘pirate’ universe to our original ‘Idol Radio’ ‘universe’ concept, we are preparing Season 3 with a ‘pirate universe’ concept. We will broadcast while trying our best to emphasize the chemistry between Hongjoong and Yunho that receives lots of love from fans, who call them ‘HoHong.'”

Through their agency KQ Entertainment, Hongjoong shared, “As we have come to join this great opportunity, we will create happy times with listeners.” Yunho added, “I only want to make happy memories, enjoyably and well. I will become a ‘Deng-Di’ [combining his nickname and DJ] that is perfect and cool, fitting for an ‘Idol Radio’ DJ!”

Season 3 of “Idol Radio” will broadcast exclusively on the UNIVERSE app starting September 12 at 9 p.m. KST and air every Monday and Wednesday. “Idol Radio” will also be available on MBC Radio every Saturday and Sunday at 2 a.m. KST and MBC FM4U every Saturday and Sunday at midnight KST.
