BLACKPINK Sweeps iTunes Charts All Over The World With "BORN PINK" And "Shut Down"

BLACKPINK has swept music charts across the globe with their new album!

On September 16 at 1 p.m. KST, BLACKPINK made their highly-anticipated comeback with their second full-length album “BORN PINK.” Immediately upon its release, both the album and its new title track “Shut Down” shot to the top of iTunes charts in numerous countries across the globe.

According to YG Entertainment, as of 9:45 a.m. KST on September 17, “BORN PINK” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 54 different regions, including the United States and the United Kingdom. “BORN PINK” had also reached No. 1 on Apple Music Top Albums charts in at least 60 different regions.

Meanwhile, “Shut Down” had soared to No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 43 different regions around the world, in addition to topping QQ Music’s realtime chart in China.
