LOONA's ViVi And HyunJin Confirmed To Have Filed Injunctions To Suspend Contracts With BlockBerryCreative

All members of LOONA have now filed injunctions to suspend their contracts with BlockBerryCreative.

On February 3, LOONA’s agency BlockBerryCreative confirmed, “The reports regarding LOONA’s ViVi and HyunJin are true.”

Earlier this day, it was reported that ViVi and HyunJin had filed injunctions requesting for the validity of their exclusive contracts with BlockBerryCreative to be suspended.

Shortly after Chuu’s removal from LOONA late last November, nine members of the group (excluding ViVi and HyunJin) filed injunctions requesting to suspend their contracts with BlockBerry Creative, which the agency initially denied. Last month, it was reported that four members had won their lawsuits (HeeJin, Kim Lip, JinSoul, Choerry). The remaining five members (HaSeul, YeoJin, Yves, Go Won, Olivia Hye) agreed to the addendum agreement proposed by BlockBerryCreative at the end of 2021 and have not yet been able to suspend their contracts.

Reports say that ViVi and HyunJin’s contracts have the same conditions as the four contracts that were successfully suspended, making it likely that they win their lawsuits.

This past week, the Korea Entertainment Management Association revealed that BlockBerryCreative submitted a petition last December, asking for a suspension on Chuu’s entertainment activities.
