Yoo Ah In Tests Positive For Marijuana

While being investigated by the police for the illegal use of propofol, Yoo Ah In has tested positive for marijuana.

Earlier this week, on February 5, the police investigated Yoo Ah In for drug use immediately following his return to Korea from the United States. As part of the investigation, the actor underwent both a urine test and a hair test.

On February 10, the police officially announced that a sample of Yoo Ah In’s urine had tested positive for marijuana. The results of his hair test are not out yet.

Previously, on February 8 and 9, the police performed a search and seizure of various doctor’s offices and clinics in Seoul’s Gangnam and Yongsan districts that are suspected of having illegally administered propofol to Yoo Ah In since early 2021.

In response to the news of Yoo Ah In’s urine test results, his agency UAA stated, “We have not yet received a notice from the police about [his] drug test results.” Referring to their previous comment on Yoo Ah In being investigated for propofol use, they went on to add, “Just like we said in our previous statement, we plan to proactively cooperate with all investigations.”
