TWICE's "READY TO BE" Achieves 2nd Highest 1st-Week Sales Of Any Girl Group Album In Circle Chart History
TWICE is soaring to new heights with their latest mini album!
Last week, TWICE made their return on March 10 with their 12th mini album “READY TO BE” and its catchy title track “SET ME FREE.”
In the first week of its release, “READY TO BE” recorded an impressive total of 1,427,039 sales according to Circle Chart data (for the week of March 5 to 10).
With this figure, “READY TO BE” has overtaken aespa‘s “Girls” to achieve the second-highest first-week sales of any female artist in Circle (Gaon) chart history. (The only album by a female artist to record higher first-week sales to date is BLACKPINK‘s “BORN PINK.”)
“READY TO BE” also broke TWICE’s personal record for first-week sales according to Hanteo Chart, which reported that the mini album sold a total of 651,205 copies from March 10 to 16. (Unlike Circle Chart, Hanteo counts real-time sales instead of shipments of stock sales made to retailers, which is why their sales figures typically differ.)
Congratulations to TWICE!
