Idol Survival Show 'Peak Time' Announces Top 6 Teams Moving On To Final Round

The top six teams of “Peak Time” have been decided!

JTBC’s “Peak Time” is an idol survival show in which teams compete for the chance to become the next “worldwide idol group.” Unlike other audition programs, its contestants consist entirely of male idols who have already debuted, whether currently active or part of a disbanded group, and they compete “anonymously” under temporary group names that correspond to different hours of the day.

Last week, the top 10 teams split up into two leagues of five teams each. The contestants then began the new song battle, with the teams in each league going head-to-head with performances of brand-new songs.

On the April 12 broadcast of “Peak Time,” the top six teams making it to the final round were announced, as well as the individual rankings of the show’s second global vote. The individual votes were converted to the equivalent of 0.3 votes then applied to team scores.

Combining the benefits and viewer votes for Round 3 with the global vote, the rankings were as follows, with the top six teams moving on to the final stage:

1. Team 11:00 (VANNER) [3% R3 benefit]

2.. Team 7:00 (MASC)

3. Team 8:00 (DKB) [3% R3 benefit]

4. Team 24:00 (solo contestants)

5. Team 13:00 (BAE173)

6. Team 20:00 (M.O.N.T)

The eliminated teams were Team 2:00 (NTX), Team 14:00 (GHOST9), and Team 15:00 (BLK).

Although 10 teams initially made it to this round, Team 23:00 (DGNA) stepped down from the program last week following member Karam’s controversy.

The live finale of “Peak Time” will air on April 19 at 10:30 p.m. KST. Check here to listen to a preview of the original songs the final six teams will be performing!
