Girls' Generation's Taeyeon Describes What Kind Of Senior Artist She Hopes To Be

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon is one of the cover stars for Harper’s Bazaar’s latest issue!

On April 17, Harper’s Bazaar released pictorials and interviews with Taeyeon, TWICE‘s Nayeon, and NewJeans‘s Hyein, three iconic girl group members who have special connections with Louis Vuitton.

In Taeyeon’s interview, she spoke candidly about the kind of senior she wants to be to junior artists. “I don’t think age matters too much,” Taeyeon shared. “We’re colleagues. Since we’re people who do the same kind of work, there’s no need for seniors to be particularly difficult to approach and as long as there’s respect for one another, I think that’s enough.”

Taeyeon added, “Of course there could be a difference in the inner skills accumulated in one field, but I’m just someone with a bit more experience. To my juniors, I want to be a colleague who’s like a friend.”
