aespa Breaks Personal Record For Stock Pre-Orders With "MY WORLD" + Sets 2nd Highest Record In K-Pop Girl Group History

aespa is setting impressive new records with their upcoming third mini album “MY WORLD”!

Ahead of the group’s highly-anticipated comeback on May 8, SM Entertainment confirmed that aespa recorded a total of over 1.8 million stock pre-orders for their third mini album “MY WORLD,” surpassing their previous personal best record of 1.61 million stock pre-orders with their second mini album “Girls.”

The number of stock pre-orders is the amount of album stock that is produced prior to an album’s release. The figure is the estimated demand calculated using various factors, including how many albums were pre-ordered by fans.

With this new achievement, aespa also recorded the second highest number of stock pre-orders in K-pop girl group history following BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK” with 2 million stock pre-orders.

aespa will hold a live broadcast to celebrate their comeback at 5 p.m. KST ahead of their comeback, and they will drop their new album “MY WORLD” along with the music video for the title track “Spicy” on May 8 at 6 p.m. KST.
