LE SSERAFIM Becomes Fastest K-Pop Girl Group To Enter Top 10 Of Billboard 200 As "UNFORGIVEN" Debuts At No. 6

LE SSERAFIM has just made K-pop history in the United States!

On May 14 local time, Billboard officially announced that LE SSERAFIM’s first full-length album “UNFORGIVEN” had debuted at No. 6 on its famous Top 200 Albums chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States.

LE SSERAFIM has now become the fastest K-pop girl group to enter the top 10 of the Billboard 200, having achieved the feat barely one year after their debut. They are also only the fifth K-pop girl group ever to make the top 10, following BLACKPINK, TWICE, aespa, and ITZY.

Additionally, LE SSERAFIM is now the fastest female K-pop act in history to chart two albums in the top 20 of the Billboard 200: their 2022 mini album “ANTIFRAGILE” previously reached No. 14 on the chart last year.

According to Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music), “UNFORGIVEN” earned a total of 45,000 equivalent album units during the week ending on May 11. The album’s total score consisted of 38,500 traditional album sales (a new record for female K-pop acts) and 6,500 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units—which translates to 9.04 million on-demand audio streams over the course of the week.
